This months recipient: Breezi George Ainsworth

Our goal with this blog is two things.  One, to sell beautiful handmade jewelry designed by you at prices that you will love.  I have for years wanted a necklace with my childrens names on it.  I googled and googled and tried to find something I could afford on a law school budget (HA!) and was so sad at what I was seeing. So we are offering beautiful jewelry that anyone can afford.  So now, I have my necklace and I love it.

Secondly, why not give back if we can.  So as previously posted we mentioned that we would be sponsoring people that are nominated by people that read our blog.  What we do and sorry if this is repetitive, but we design a piece of jewelry specific to the recipients situation and sell it giving more that 50% of the profits to them!  This months recipient was nominated by her loving sister and friend Callie.  So I want to introduce Breezi.

When Breezi was a child she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.  This is a long term disease that causes inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues.  It may also attack other organs.  It is an auto immune disease that mistakenly attacks healthy tissues in the body.  RA is very painful.  When diagnosed the doctors told her that she may end up wheelchair bound, and may never have children.

Since she was a child she was able to beat the odds.  She lived with daily pain, but persevered.  She is married to her loving husband Oj, and has three beautiful children.  She works at Airmed as a dispatcher and worked six years as a 911 dispatcher.
Just a couple weeks ago on December 12th Breezi was diagnosed with DCIS, Ductal Carcinoma in Situ.  A breast cancer that starts in the milk ducts.  She was also diagnosed with invasive carcinoma cancer in the breasts.  Early today Breezi went into surgery for a double mastectomy.  Breezi was also told that she would need a hysterectomy, possible radiation and chemotherapy.

This is the necklace that Breezi and her sister Callie helped to design.  These can be purchased on our official website.  In the shop section.  We also have several new cute designs for valentines day!

A portion of all necklaces purchased in January will go to helping this sweet family.

Thanks,
Brit.
